Question: Why did you become a pet sitter? Answer:Why not?!?

In the words of Henry David Thoreau:

"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

People always ask, "Why did you become a pet sitter?" My answer "Why not?"

I am not good at math. But, almost two years ago I put two things I love together: owning my own business plus love of pets and that equaled Pineapple Pets. Seeing people's love of their four-legged friends is one of the most rewarding parts of owning a pet sitting business. Pet owners have wonderful stories about how they found their cat behind a dumpster at Wal-Mart and saved its life, or how they saved their dog from being put down at the shelter just in time. Pet owners are a different breed! They are friendly, social, and caring. You know, the type of person with which anyone would WANT to do business!

Yes, I spend a lot of time with dogs and cats (and sometimes tortoises)! I get to walk dogs, play fetch, and pet cute kittens; I also get to own my own business. I am the boss. I am the one and only who makes the schedule. I am the Top-Dog.
